It’s that great time of year again when we get to celebrate our independence with the colorful sights of fireworks, great food, and of course, our friends and family.
Why spend your 4th standing shoulder to shoulder on land with complete strangers when you could be relaxing in the comfort of your own boat. No impeded views, room to stretch out, and all your favorite snacks within arms reach. You could even bring a pole or two, head out early and snag some fish before the show.
If you make the right decision and watch the fireworks from the water this year, make sure to remember these few tips.
- Head out early and get a great spot.
- Bring lots of great snacks to enjoy.
- Relax and enjoy the show.
- Be extra careful when navigating around others.
- Don’t rush in as the ramps will be busiest immediately following the show.
- Use a more remote boat ramp to avoid boat traffic.
No matter what coastal city you choose to launch at, there is sure to be a great display in the sky. The most important thing to remember is be safe and have a great time.
